LUXURY MAGAZINE UNVEILS ITS SPRING 2019 ISSUE: IMMERSIVE SPORTS, HIGH-LEVEL FITNESS & HEALTHY LIVING
Jackson, WY (March 19, 2019) — LUXURY MAGAZINE, the quarterly publication available exclusively to Luxury CardTM members, unveiled its Spring 2019 issue today, with the theme Immersive Sports, High-Level Fitness & Healthy Living. The premium publication offers trends and features across all categories of luxury lifestyle, from travel, adventure and fashion to home design, real estate and technology. Each issue also features as the cover art a well-known or up-and-coming artist—making every edition a unique collector’s item for our Cardmembers.
“Spring is the time to get out and play, whether your interests lie in motorsports, mountain biking or making waves,” says Editor-in-Chief Deborah Frank, “and this issue covers the best ways to enjoy the season’s athletics—physically and mentally, from VIP gyms to mindful eating to wellness abodes.”
Highlights from the Spring issue include:
Cover Artist: Cai Guo-Qiang
Internationally acclaimed Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang draws on a variety of symbols, narratives, traditions and unique materials. Cai’s use of gunpowder has become central to his work, leading to his experimentation with explosives and the development of his signature ignition events. Drawn to the medium for its myriad associations, his gunpowder work, in addition to his repertoire of large-scale installations and social projects, draws on Eastern philosophy, Maoist sentiment and contemporary social issues. The Spring issue’s cover art, Red Lilies, was part of his solo exhibition Flora Commedia earlier this year at the Uffizi. If your travels take you to Italy, don’t miss Cai’s current exhibition at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (through May 20), which features the aftermath of an explosion event in the Amphitheatre of Pompeii to echo the ancient city’s volcanic destruction.
Drive Time: The Rolex Alliance with Motorsports
Rolex’s association with motorsports dates back to the 1930s and the synergy makes sense. Precision is at the heart of racing and reinforces Rolex’s commitment to performance at the highest levels. Here, our team takes a closer look at the history and association between the coveted timepiece and the skill it takes to win.
Spring Fling: Spanish-Influenced Fashion
In this issue we welcome spring with bold pops of color and sexy silhouettes. Shot on location in Santa Barbara, California, with models Gizele Oliveira and Juan Betancourt, the looks are flirtatious yet strong and evoke a sense of adventure and romance.
Our editors review the leading tennis clinics from Gstaad to Antigua to Maui. Loosely dubbed “tennis fantasy camps,” they all offer multiday on-court instruction from Grand Slam legends such as Roy Emerson, John Newcombe and Fred Stolle. Plus exclusive, off-the-court experiences that are no match for ordinary getaways.
